  • Brief:The construction of 10, 1 and 2 bedroom residential apartments totalling 5,000 ft2 GIFA in a 2 storey block.


Optimorph was appointed as Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers as well as operating as management contractor to demolish the existing building and construct a new 5,000ft GIFA 2 storey residential apartment block comprising communal entrance and staircase, 10, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and associated external works, parking and landscaped communal gardens. There was Japanese Knotweed on the site and Optimorph appointed and managed specialist consultants and contractors to remediate the site which was supported by the only insurance backed guarantee in the UK. As well as discharging all planning conditions, dealing and appointing NHBC Optimorph appointed, procured and managed all the necessary consultants and design team. Optimorph also produced the sales brochure for the client and appointed and managed the estate agent and solicitor for the sale, marketing and disposal of the units. 4 nr units were sold off plan and the remainder sold within 6 months of completion.
